“This piece is a reconstruction of my parents as giant ladder forms assembled from some 200 pieces of found wood. The pieces had to be reinforced after its initial construction as they were continuously breaking down. In a strange way this was in fact what the piece was all about, as it is about the vulnerability of people... heroes and broken down ladders at the same time. The piece could also be titled “Nobody’s Perfect”. RH
