“In this work internal steel plates shake and reverberate from the sound of the Jimi Hendrix’ song ‘Wild Thing’. It has the appearance as if there is a small band playing inside the vehicle. The shape is modeled after the car I was driving as a kid when I heard JFK was shot. As a whole, society was traumatized when that occurred - forever remembering wherever we were at that moment. This piece is about the phenomena of trauma."  RH
